Can the nav be updated?

I'm wondering if the navigation interface software has any updates? I have a 2009, and never actually took it back to the dealer except for my first couple oil changes

Default Can the nav be updated?

So, back on topic, have there been any updates?

Just had my 09 Nav updated. I went on-line and paid for the update (they give you a code). Paid $149. You have to take the code to the Stealership and get them to update. That set me back $104. Took about an hour for the install.

So wait... was that like $253 total? Seems like a rip off for an update.

After dishing out more money for a Touring plus the nav ($3k), you're still putting out more money for updates. If you ask me, I think the updates should be free considering the amount of money that is spent on the nav. What a shame.

X2, but that's biz.... and the price of preferring not to have a $130 tomtom with lifetime updates suction cupped to your windshield becaus
e of aesthetics.

Occasionally you will see the update advertised for $99. Just keep checking the Navtec web site.
