Question Need advice on a head unit

Hey guys,

Just purchased a 2012 370z base model, and as incredible as the car is, it's only taken a week to lose patience with the stock radio. I'm looking at a Pioneer AVH-2400BT but I was hoping I could get some advice before I make the buy. My questions are:
- What kind of adapter should I purchase for steering wheel control functionality
- What kind of bracket kit do I need to make this thing fit properly and not have spacing or gaps, and does anybody have a pic of how it will look installed?
- How is the Bluetooth quality on this unit for phone and streaming audio? I've been driving a 2010 Ford Fusion for a little over a year for work purposes, and what the car lacked in fun it made up for in functionality with the Microsoft Sync system. I have a Droid X and it's the only thing I use for music.
- I'm sure that there isn't much improving the quality of the speakers even with the improved head unit. Does anyone have any suggestions for a speaker combo? I'm not looking to do a sub, but I'd like to replace the four existing ones.

This forum is simply awesome, thanks for any input!

ive not tried this HU but i have the 3100 and 4100 in my cars. both have been rock solid and using a PAC-PS steering remote module. on the Z no bracket was needed to install the 3100, but had to make a small bezel to fill a little gap you see around the perimeter. your 2400 may come with a bezel you can cut and fit to fill the void.

you'll want to get the wiring harness (included free at crutchfield) and antenna adapter.

no idea on the BT on your deck. motorola droids have been notoriously not pairing automatically on the previous gen BT modules per the reviews i read (optional modules for 3100 and 4100) so i run a Motorola Roadster2 with auto on/off on my G for my Droid4 and using my BT-Nuvi in my Z for taking any calls.

i suggest you read the reviews on amazon and crutchfield to see if your deck works well with the motorola droids or not for BT. good luck.

imho, the better deck of choice would be the 4400BH.
