Custom amp rack and audio system install with pics

Hey everyone I am new around here I just got my Z and unfortunately (or fortunately?) I didnt get the Bose "premium" sound package. I have been looking around at some audio equipment to upgrade my sound system and all with and I have settled on a Component speaker system driven by a separate amp that I will be installing. I have always gone JL in the past but I am not sure this time yet but Im working on it. Any suggestions are definitely welcomed ...... All that being said I was looking allover for a place to install an amp in the not so spacious cabin of the 370, but after reading some threads and searching around I have settled on the spce behind the seats in front of the spare tire. My goal here is to keep the install as clean as possible but I figured I would create a thread to track my progress. I wanted to focus on the amp mounting as I have talked to several people and no one had any killer boxed ideas on mounting one so I decided to wing it but anyways here are some pics.

Heres where it got kind of tricky. I had to figure out how to transfer the locations for the bolt holes from the stand off to the back of the wood amp rack. I ended up splitting an ink pen and putting ink around the holes on the stand offs and transferring them by pressing the wood onto the stand offs. worked really well but you have to be careful b/c it can get kind of messy if your not. I managed to not get any ink anywhere

You may not be able to tell from the pictures but i have about 3 inches of vertical room to work with for mounting an amp under where the stock carpet line is so ill be fine there. I Have black vinyl sitting in the garage left over from a kit car build a few years ago that I will be using to cover the amp rack with hopefully this week sometime. Ill be sure to update as I continue the Audio portion of the install. Hope you enjoy!
