1. how do your speakers sound now that you have this head unit in?
2. did you hook up a back up camera?
3. on the harness from the new eclipse and the harness from scoche there are three black grounds... I'm assuming the double one gets chopped and then the remaining get connected right? wow, that just made me sound like an idiot.
4. where did you ground off the parking break
5. were you able to hook the brown (i think its the brown one) to the factory steering controls? any hints?
Just want to add one more time that your install and choice look amazing!!!! hope mine turns out well too!

1. I have a base model with sport package and speakers sound great to me (I am not so crazy about audio equipment in a car though). But it really sounds nice, especially when I stream music from my iPhone (version 3.0 software).
2. No I did not get back up camera yet.
3. I don't remember any more about that. I thought there were 2 black wires, and you can just ground one of them.
4. Parking break is a little tricky, because you have to remove the center console to get there. Once you lift it you will spot the wire going to hand break sensor. If you do it that way you will be able to watch DVD movies only when parking break is engaged. I am pretty sure you could bypass it.
5. This is also tricky, because in order to have this working with steerring wheel controls you will have to get a separate module for that which can be found on this forum where people did it with other navigation units. I did not do it so my audio steereing wheel controls don't work right now. Cruise controls are unaffected.
Good luck!
