The reason I ask is when I put in my components, I'm thinking of leaving the tweets in their stock location, and I'm trying to find the hard plastic that can be used for the mount. But I can't seem to find it anywhere in a store. Do you know what I'm talking about? It's a 1/4" black hard plastic...

I wouldn't recommend keeping stock tweeters in weather your doing a component or coaxial speaker setup. Run all new wires and replace the stock tweeter and woofer at the same time, and be sure to use the crossover that is provided.

You can do a few different things to get the new tweeter in place. Hard sheet of plastic is one, cut out the old factory tweeter and use the stock bracket to hold the new tweeter is another.
