Nothing behind the head unit was altered. The battery was unplugged, the cables were moved from a JL 300/4 v2 to a JL XD500/3 and it hasnt worked since. My shop has come to the conclusion that the Class D XD amp is interfering with the signal. However, he did not have any used amps around the shop he could swap in to see if it made the difference and unfortunately I dont own the 300/4 anymore.
Couldnt I accomplish this same test, unplugging the remote lead from the amp and hooking a speaker up to headunit power? Or does the amp need to be out of the vehicle. |
