Did I read that correctly on the release?? Video is a must have from iPod/iPhone...

I would highly doubt that it can not play ipod video.

However, There is nothing saying yes or no as of right now.

just spoke with someone from Alpine, It will do Video via Ipod iphone.
You will still need to get around parking brake procedures.
