How bad is the Bose sub?
 

Is it possible to hook it up to an aftermarket head unit and amp in a stock sport 370? There is one for sale in the "For Sale" section. Just wondering if it is worth it.

I currently have amplified Polk DB components in the doors.

No not even worth it or your time. They are about the size of a tape measure and there are 2 of them in a plastic enclosure.

I have it and the bass that comes out of it is a joke (at least to me). I won't change the system anytime soon but I will add another subwoofer. I have a spare subwoofer and an amp that I will install soon.

To go into this further OP, the bass that is coming out of your polk db's is probably more than the bose sub will ever be.

Anytime a Bose thread pops up, I know Matt will be there to answer... lol

I got better bass from my hands beating on the steering wheel than my stock Bose sub put out. Now I am quite pleased with my JL Audio.
