Bose Factory 12V Constant Power
So I need a yellow constant 12V & a red switched 12V to power up the Alpine headunit. I used the yellow wire (constant 12V) from the factory harness. I measured the voltage and its only 3V for some reason, and I remember reading somewhere that this yellow wire is factory amplified.
I'm guessing taking out the Bose amps is the cause of this. Where else can I get a constant 12V? I'm looking for the easiest solution, if not I might run power off a distribution block from the battery. Thanks. |

Buy the harness for your vehicle and problem solved.....you are greatly over complicating this
