Wasn't sure where to put this so here it goes. Recently purchased an Escort Redline radar detector and didn't want a suction cup mount that falls down all the time.

Escort redline install
Wasn't sure where to put this so here it goes.
Recently purchased an Escort Redline radar detector and didn't want a suction cup mount that falls down all the time. Found a mounting solution by blendmount that attaches to the rear view mirror stem. Also I wanted to keep my 12v adapter available for my cell phone without having to use a splitter or having a cable hanging in the middle of my windshield/dash. Used a product from mirrortap to utilize the DC power already available to my homelink mirror. Install took about an hour from unpacking to reading the instructions to installing it and being satisfied with the result. Pricing on the blend mount was a bit high but I like how it turned out. Took these pictures before i trimmed off the excess from the zip ties. |
