I can speak from experience since I got banned from this 370Z site for 6 months for expressing my opinion. If you read all of my posts since being banned, I have been silent with my opinions and knowledge. I do not know Big and have nothing against his installations and have read positive comments in this forum concerning his basic skills but I have noticed posts being deleted when people have expressed their opinions and expertise. This could all change when the next generation Z is produced and a new Z forum starts with different people. Just saying

To the OP.

It sound to me like you are looking for a basic install which any competent shop will be able to accommodate. Best bet is to call up the local shops and look through their install photos. Good shop wouldn't mind you looking through their install bays and allow you to view briefly when they are installing the system. It is disconcerting to let a stranger tear apart your car and I feel your trepidation, but a well establish shop with liability insurance is your best bet.

As for the other aspects relating to this thread, I respectfully let people whom has seen all the evidences come to their own opinion but I take exception in your assertion that what was posted in Car 101 thread was "opinion" in as much as what was stated if I may paraphrase: FLAC compression is lossless - which you at the time adamantly disagreed. This is not opinion but fact and to have the posts removed was in my opinion not conducive to the benefit of everyone.

The posts were removed because they discussion and or debate was not going anywhere so I had the 3 pages cleaned up.

This is correct! and probably confused some people!! The person who responded and corrected the “FLAC compression is lossless” statement will probably never contribute his audio knowledge in this forum again.

Hey thanks for the input. It definitely is nerve racking letting someone , whom you don't know, tear apart you car. I wanted to see if anyone on the forum knew any good shops. I know Benchmark, but I wanted to get more opinions.
