Metra wiring harness
This process will add the wires directly to your metra harness so you can wire your Metra ASWC steering wheel controls direct. So no splicing or cutting your factory wires.

Just wires added 25 bucks "send harness to me"
NOTE this process is still expensive because I have to purchase pre existing metra harnesses and tear them down. Once I find a source in the states that sells the pins the price will drop.

Add 10 bucks and all your harnesses if you would like the wired up so it will be plug and play. "except ground"

So do you think adding some hertz component in the front and hertz coaxial in the back would be a decent amount of bass?

If that were adequate I think I would prefer that over a sub/amp. I don't really like any of the pre fab sub enclosures. And when you start looking at custom you really really getting into too much money, especially if you are using nice equipment.

Also would it help with bass at all of you ran the four speakers off of an amp instead of the head unit, or would just clean up the sound more?

Does the rear door panel still work for the books etc behind the passenger seat?

No, the only way to get into it is to remove the panel.

lesper4 12-11-2013 03:30 PM

In the picture the bottom panel is removed to make the pod (and put back) but the side is still in place, maybe it no longer opens (swings out)? One could just cut a larger opening so it is still usable?

No because than you would not have the space needed to mount the speaker.
