Why won't my unit play MP3 CDs?
 

I have burned three MP3 CDs in hopes of getting it to work but each time it doesn't detect the MP3s and just sits there. I am using folders, should I not be? That would be weak.

I'm not burning at the highest speed to make sure it is successful. Please help. Thanks

Do you have the base model (no Touring)? I don't believe it plays MP3 CDs - do you hae satellite radio? Do you see an MP3 logo on you radio?

Correct the base head unit will not play MP3 or WMA

I feel so stupid. :o Yes I have a base model and no it doesn't claim to be able to play MP3 or WMA. Kinda bummed.

Sadly all you have is an Aux in jack, I'd suggest going after market.

go spend 120 dollars on aftermarket stereo and bam problem solved :P sound a lot better too

The 1st day I picked up my Nismo I was like WTF. I figured it wouldn't work b/c that CD worked in my G37.
