Default System install on Saturday

So I spoke to an installer today and was sugested that I should go with a pair of JL Audio C2 - 650's and a JL Audio G2250 amp. I have the stock system and I'm not looking to change the deck or sub. Any thoughts on how this should match up and sound would really help.
Kindest regards,
TommyGuns

Do you have the Bose system? Either way this should improve the range and really sound better even with the stock head unit.

So I dropped off the Z at Audio designs in Hicksville, NY at 9:30 am Saturday. They installed a pair of Morel Dotech Ovation SW6 speakers in the stock locations and matched them with a JL Audio G2250 amp topped off with some Dynamat Extreme on the doors. The crossovers are behind the HU. The install took about 5 hours and came out the same way it went in "PERFECT". As for the sound I have to say it sounds great a HUGE improvement over the base system.

Looks pretty good. There's no doubt it blows away the stock system.

Keep in mind that I have had work done there before and they cut me a great deal. I doubt that just anyone is going to get this price, but I'm sure it will be close. Get ready! $874.00 + tax, out the door. If your lucky enough to be able to get to them just ask for Brian and tell him that you saw the post and the work that they did on Tom's car. I'm sure he will take care of everyone that comes to him from the forum. It really sounds great and there is no hint of any changes to the interior, looks just like it did when I first picked it up.

Ok, I gotta give it to you on the price of everything. Main question is, did you already have the Morels? If not, then you got a GREAT deal. Kinda crappy turn around time of 5 hours but overall, not bad at all. You did pretty good for yourself there.

Not bad at all for purchasing everything there. I checked out those speakers and they are like 300-500 so you got a great deal.

$375.00 speakers
$249.00 amp
$100.00 dynamat
$150.00 install with all wire, cables, adapters and master fuse
I know it was an insane deal, they squeezed it down. The nice thing is, these guys are really down to earth and are total car guys.

I could have shopped on the internet and found them cheaper but then the install price goes up.
