Question Thoughts on wiring harness for 370z

Last night I installed my new head unit and tried something out and it was a success.

Some of you know how you have to splice or cut into the factory wires to add the metra axxess.

Well what i did is take a metra wiring harness and add pins and wires to the blanks that correspond to those wires. What does this mean? No more cutting at all!!! Would literally become plug and play.

Would come with a paper explaining what wire goes to which on the axxess.

What do you guys think if I started selling these? Only for the 370Z right now

I already spliced into my harness. Would of rather had this option though. Great idea.

thats a fairly easy diy considering no matter what each nissan harness comes with at least one unused pin in the harness if not 5. Its just a matter of moving the pins to the appropriate locations which if I recall correctly are detailed by metra in various locations

Usually people use all but the ground wire and the amp wake up wire, so you would still need one more wire. Also yes plenty of info out there but some people like the plug and play option of having a harness ready to go! None the less both good options. It is not like I am trying to make a million bucks off of these.

Exactly…….someone with the “command of the English language” should post the DIY (with photos) for those who are in need! Anyone can purchase the “Metra Harness” and with very little skill move the pins themselves!! ……….just saying

Matt,

Thanks for the fast turn around on modding my Metra harness. I finished my system install tonight, and manually programed the steering wheel controls. Piece of cake. Rep sent.
