I would get a good 4ch amp to run the fronts now and later to run a sub off th rear channels, if you want to keep it at a low over all cost.

this right here sounds very very interesting. seems like something id like to do, for a low cost although still a good sound system. not changing the rear speakers would leave me a bit of more money to spend on the front speakers. but why wouldn't you change rear ones? (just curious)
