Good point 90, the only complaint I have with them is you have to pay a monthly service fee to use your phone with the car.

So currently are there any alarm systems (not necessarily remote start systems) that allow you to not have to have the oem keyfob on you to get in the car? I hate carrying a million bulky items on my key ring, and I hate having to pull my keys out to unlock my doors. Are there any systems I can just walk up to the car with only the alarm keyfob and open my door with the door button? Basically the same function as my stock keyfob but using the alarm one?

Most alarms systems will integrate into your factory lock/unlock system thus allowing you to use your factory remote. Add remote start to that and it is a whole different ball game.

as long as the correct interface module is combined with a compatible alarm system you will be able to control the aftermarket alarm with the factory remote. There is no alarm that will allow you to not need the factory keyfob to drive the car. Adding remote start to an alarm being controlled through the factory remote is not that difficult but whoever is doing it needs to have a very good understanding of security installation

Wow. Seriously. It doesn't get much clear than that !!!
And that kenwood is looking sick on the Z. I just might go with that 1. I really like it. I don't know but the Z with A/T looks weird to me. . . I wouldn't get it like that |

For the record even with the use of an xk09 or dball or FLCAN or adsalca you will still need the factory key fob to drive the car and adding remote start to the factory key fob is not detailed in the manuals for either module but it is possible.
