stereo upgrade / warranty question
 

does anyone know if the warranty on a Z can be voided if something breaks or goes wrong after an aftermarket audio system install, or as a result of an install, even if it was done professionally? Matt i bet you have some knowledge here as well...:hello:

Only if it is directly related to the aftermarket stereo ....chances of something related would be very slim unless the installer doesn't know what he is doing....professional install should give you zero worries

As said you should not have any problems, the only problem I could see is if you had the factory nav and added a LOC and new stuff, than maybe you would have trouble.

However keep in mind every dealer in is different. I would contact yours and make sure they are ok with it.

Magnuson-Moss Warranty act.....unless whatever is done can be proven to be directly responsible for the failure they cannot void your warranty
