Default Oem navi Question

I purchased a 370 sport package without the navi and now im in the market for one. Ive alwayes perfered oem navi and I hear great things about the 370z. Is it possible to install the oem navi in my Z? Nissan told me they would not do it, however a local audio shop said they will I can find a scamatic for it. Has anyone added the factory navi to there Z? Any problems? Thanks.

I had the same question. I found the answer by searching. Of course it is possible, but the cost and effort seem unreasonable. I think it was over 5k for just the parts. You would be better off trading cars. I wanted a 40th, so I have to go aftermarket with the nav.

Buy used parts from a junkyard and wire it together using the service manual as a reference. Could be done under 1000.

How many 370's in a junk yard and top of that with Navi's. Not as many as you think.

If youre willing to pay full price and buy from the dealership, any part can be purchased. It's more of a cost issue.

Depending on your 370z year, parts from other Nissan cars can be used. The screen is the same with G37, Maxima, Murrano, FX35, etc. If you do your research and search around, you will definitely find all the parts for a good price.

In terms of installation, it's not a direct swap. All the parts will fit but wiring has be redone.
