JBL Speaker and Custom Tweeter Install
 

Hey guys, I'm pretty new to the forums.
I had no idea that the base Z only came with two speakers... I was honestly very, very disappointed.
I picked up some JBL speakers and installed them at my shop. Also cut holes for my tweeters and rewired the system. Sounds great, and I'm probably going to add 2 10" orion XTR pro speakers in the near future. Just thought I would share some photos and get your opinion!
I also noticed that there's a spot for rear speakers but none are there...
Wired in some 3 1/2 JBL speakers and now it sounds great!

Are you aware there are stock tweeters under the grills on the dashboard?

Nope I had no idea. Oh well the ones I installed look pretty good.

Where did you put the 3.5's and do you have any pics of that install?

I had them in my audio shop. I'll post pics this evening

Or where in the car? Behind the seats Nissan gave a spot for 3 1/2 speakers but in the base model they left them empty so I ran wires through the pillars and rewired the system with JBL Gto's

Cool. Was wondering which speakers fit back there. I have a NIMSO and am about to upgrade the stereo.
