How much volume (space) is there between the top of those subs and the rear hatch when it is closed? Is this volume sufficient for the subs to operate to

How much volume (space) is there between the top of those subs and the rear hatch when it is closed? Is this volume sufficient for the subs to operate to its design potential?

It is tight, I dont know the measurement off the top of my head but there is enough room for both subs to fully push out, with a few inches of room for airflow. I have had them playing at full volume with no distortion and had no problem. We did have to dynmat the trunk lid along with spray foam the lid.
