any word on the release date?

None yet, could be the end of this month could be in June. All I know is this is what I am getting.

I'm thinking about adding an Alpine HCE-C300R to my Kenwood HU. I can;t find any info on the HCE-C305R to see if it's worth the wait. Do you have any info or advice on these systems?

This is the only info I have right now. Probably would be worth it if your not comfortable with just seeing what is behind you.

Yeah, I got the 300 down, it's the newer 305 I was trying to see if their were any new bells and whistles worth waiting for.

You will most likely need a custom install with that radio. I am not sure 370Z is in the list of Kits they are coming out with.

From what I read the new alpine will fit in standard double din however their perfect fit dash kits will look even nicer, but I think those are for strange dashed like the camaro.

really excited about this headunit... what are the chances Alpine makes one of those "perfect fit" kits for the 370z???

I think it is going to give ti a run for its money. Alpine has some of the fastest interfaces out there right now. Noting that the new ones have a more up to date interface I still think they will be snappy.

I doubt they will make a perfect fit kit for the z.
