Fair Price for Bose speaker set?

I can't list my Bose speakers (fronts, rear fill, subwoofer with spare holdown) for sale in the Classifieds unless I state an asking price per Forum rules. They are out of a 2012 Touring with 600 miles on the odometer.

I there ANY demand for these and if so what's a fair price ?

Thanks-
Bill

I can't imagine anyone wanting them unless they blew their existing speakers, which is almost impossible considering the Bose electronics limit the amount of power at the high end of volume....

Ya... it is a luck of the draw sometimes people want them and you can get a bit of money.

However a lot of the ones I see F/S can be overpriced. Just be reasonable. As mentioned above, most replace them and usually the people that are looking for the speakers are ones who blew them "which happens a lot.

I personally wouldn't ask for more than $100 since the market is extremely limited.

I'll give you $100 for them.

I would say you paying someone a hundred bucks to take and dispose of them would be a pretty fair deal.

Actually, Cheshire I would probably melt them down and sell them for plastic scrap value. (I'm such a salesman!) But somebody either has or will blow the sub and/or other speakers and their choice will either be buy new or buy from the forum. Replacements from Nissan are ridiculously expensive! Mine have only about 6 hours of use. We'll see...

The problem is that even if someone manages to blow one (which is hard to do) it is unlikely that they would want to buy all of them from you to replace one speaker. Also it isn't that easy apparently to get them to work with non-bose headunits properly but I don't know that much about it.

brand new Bose speakers (all 4) about $290
brand new Bose sub enclosure & tie down about $450

I'd say anywhere from $250-400 is reasonable, depending on how quick you want to let go of them. The probem for anyone buying it is gonna be finding the head unit. GL, hope this helps.

I have them listed in the classified for $225 which includes shipping.

Just an observation- I believe you need the amp(s) as well as the headunit in order to get this to work. Wiring the Bose speakers directly to a headunit might not work out so well, since they have such weird ohm levels.
