Axxess ASWC and Phone Buttons
I would love to know if anyone was able to get their phone buttons working and how they did it. Obviously I have a Touring.
With the stock BT adapter connected I don't get a signal from those buttons. I will try jumping the pins as per Axxess's website but I am not sure that would be enough. If anyone has had success I would be very grateful. |

Yeah I saw your post there and it sounds promising that it IS possible but how would you suggest I test to see how to hook up the phone? Can I somehow have someone with a ohm meter test the back pins while I press the buttons up front? Even then who knows what lead you would utilize on the Axxess?

Someone has posted what pin it is on another thread, I would search for that thread. I can not remember which one it was.

No luck using Axxess's diagram. I found that even after I jumped the pins (and verified on the service manual that there are only 2 output leads) not only do I not get working phone buttons, but I lose all functions. It isn't until I plug the harness back into the unit that it works with the volume/source/preset buttons. Guess I am calling this one a defeat until someone comes up with the proper procedures.

I don't know if anyone has any input but below are the service diagrams from both axxess and Nissan showing what pins were jumped (same color). I am beginning to think that there is no power to the switch wires when the unit is detatched. If anyone has any advice I'd appreciate it. Note that the service manual shows the wire side and the Axxess diagram uses the pin side so the leads are reversed when looking at the pictures.
