Got the harness ordered and be here Wed. Thanks so much! Now the harness on the right, picture above, with all the RCA type cables, we are using the brown for the Kenwood rearview camera. Using the yellow, green, black for the parking brake bypass for the DVD and to ground. Question..can you cut off all the unused RCA cables not being used? Also help on the overall wiring would be great if anything is wrong. If anyone has any pics of their wiring on the back, it would be great. Things we are installing are the 130BT, Axxess Steering, Pioneer XM, and Kenwood backup camera. From looking at the above pic, please let me know including the new harness coming in. Very much appreciate help to finish...right.

In addition the XM unit and the camera will not plug into the harness at all (with the exception of the power lead being able to be wired to the yellow). Otherwise those two plug into the back of the head unit (or pigtail that came from Pioneer).

I know you guys will be mad at me, but please give us a rundown of the general hook up. Here is the back of the HU. Just a quick list of what goes where would be fantastic. Do I have enough hook ups for the 4 RCA connectors on the new harness? My husband has done many stereos but this one is throwing us. Thanks thanks!!

You are looking at the wrong place... they connect to the female RCAs on this picture... You should def have enough... you only use 2 sets (front and rear). Not trying to be a jerk but why don't you just have an installer do it for you if you are confused? It is a nice head unit (IMO) so I'd hate to see it be wired incorrectly and broken. At the very least you could let them do the wiring then install the unit yourself. Heck you could probably mail the harness to someone on the board to get that part taken care of.

Matt, at one day over 9 years ago I had no idea how to install a head unit. But I took my time and learned. And now I do so many installs and answer so many questions it is not funny. Anyone can do a install if they have the will and the patience.

Ok so recently I pulled my console apart to fix issues I had with dealership wiring and to place my bluetooth mic from my AVIC-X140BH in the stock location. I also went out and got the proper harness for this HU. The dealership had gotten the regular harness and wired it all up, and spliced RCA's into it to make it work. The installer who put in my rear view camera used 30ft of RCA to get the one plug to my head unit. Along with a power cable. Since they went around the outside of the car instead of going direct through the console, they needed all that length. I shortened it.
The camera, speakers and everything works. I had an issue with the connector plug to my iPod that I placed inside the console bucket, resolved that when I noticed the plug where the USB is was loose. Used some tape and good to go. Now for my issue.... Music all plays fine, but when there is music only coming out from the left side, it's quiet. The music going to that side isn't quiet, just when the song has an instrument playing on that side, it will be really low in comparison to the rest of the music. Did I plug a RCA cable in wrong? Or did my dealership have it wired up weird and I have to look at using that old harness again?

Just to clarify....
I went into my HU settings and played with the faders/balance. Everything seems to be working properly. I cannot play with the settings in my iPod while connected because I supposidly need an app. I didn't need one before....I am using an older model iPod. Can't really remember how old
