FYI, my boss caught a gym thieft by putting a small hand held recorder into a sock in his gym locker! He just set it to record all the time and after 1.5 hrs, the guy opened the locker (even though it had a lock) stole the money and walked away. Dude was arrested, has a long rap sheet.

omg today I went to Nissan dealer to buy the lug nuts and they don't even have it looool I risk my life to go there, driving my Z with 3 lug nuts on the rims!!! CRAZYY. I was so scared! and I am not satisfied with the result today. now I ordered them in online, prob going to take like a good week to get it...sigh.........

Don't drive it with 3 lugs... take one from another wheel and drive with 4 on each...

Better yet don't drive it at all and move to a new apartment where people don't attempt to steal your lugs/wheels on a weekly basis.

While this sounds all fine and dandy... Me and some friends did this when I was like 17 and one of my friends ended up getting stabbed to death about 6 months later by one of the guys we "caught" during our stakeout. Scumbags don't learn a lesson, they just get a grudge.

That's seriously messed up (and tragic) but your point rings true.

All jokes aside, if you do the stakeout idea, be very careful. Think about the long-term consequences, and the potential blowback from it, if you were to introduce violence.

I don't condone getting bloody, but I certainly condone a person's right to protect himself and his property. Good luck catching the scumbag. :tup:

Yeah, I'd probably do the stakeout with a video camera and make sure I'm not seen. Then I'd call the cops and give them the video and let them deal with it.

I gotta stop :driving: around with 3 lugs... my apartment is actually very good apartment with many rich people and i live in very nice town. However, things can happen anyway. There is one more 370z in my apartment but some really old lady drives it so I can't imagine she stealing my lugs lol
