Depends on the size of the amp. What are the dimensions? If the amp is small enough, it can be mounted in the space between the trunk and cabin. All you would need to do is remove the foam insert that is in that area. That's how I mounted my amps........

You can possibly mount it under the seat.

behind the seat is also a popular option.

Behind seat, under the seat if it is small enough, behind alpine head unit " power pack", on top of sub box, under rear foam brace, where spare time is.

There is no yes or no to where to mount an amp just as long as it is not exposed to the elements.

what about inside the plastic under the rear brace bar? I think there's enough space in there if you don't have the bose system. It would be more work, but in the end it would be out of the way.

What did you use to secure it in the area where the foam piece used to be? I have been playing around with options in that area. I cut up a styrofoam lid and used that as a temp base to see how it fit and if it would move around. It worked out well, I just need to get some sort of mounting hardware worked out. Did you cover it or just leave it open under the hatch cover?

I'm not sure of the amp you have; but typically styrofoam next to heat sinks on an amp is not good for the amp. Make sure the heat sinks are properly vented so the amp does not go into protection mode.

Their are 2 large blots that come up through the floor in the "foam piece" area of the hatch. Alternatively, you can add a nut to the large bolt that comes up through the floor to bolt down the amp rack. I just dynamat in the amp rack so it can not move. My amp rack and sub box covers the foam piece. I will add pics later.

Understood. The styrofoam was at the bottom of the amp so that I could keep it in place. I have the JL HD900/5.

I removed the foam block all together. Built a MDF amp rack that went in its place.
