OK need a expert's advice
 

i have a set of jvc component's just installed in my 09.
and they sound great. good highs and bass kicks go enough for me.
just one problem. sometimes i will get a slight rattle from the drivers side door
from the bass. but if i lower the window just a tad not much it stops.....

do i need to add some sound material inside the door. would that be the first
place to start. the window is going all the way up.

I would pull the door panels off and get as much coverage with dynamat or other material inside the door. Maybe even some single cell foam.

I pulled my door panels, and placed as much dynamat as i could reach onto the outer door skin, completely covered the inner door skin, and even placed a good bit on the back side of the plastic door panel as well.
Above and beyond that, I put weatherstripping on the underside of the speaker mounting ring, and siliconed every possible air gap around the factory speaker mounts.
Much Bass.....No rattle, or Vibrations
