I'm looking to get all new speakers

Hey I'm in the beginning stages of shopping around for upgraded speakers for my new Z. (since i don't have rear speakers and all) I'm not looking to upgrade my head unit just yet, I wanna save up for a Nav/dvd/bluetooth option.

But what I need to know is what size speakers to look for. I've been looking at 6x9's which I assume are the front and rears, but what about the tweeters?

Also, what reasonably priced speakers do people prefer in their Z's?

Thanks

Please search the forums for this info, many threads and even sticky's have this info.

A side note, I would not go with 6X9's for the fronts as you want to go with components and the best ones are going to use 6.5 inch speakers.

does the base sound package have wiring for the rear speakers?

But you could always wire them from the deck to the speaker locations. You will have to buy speakers also.

I am planning on buying speakers, I just wondered if i could just plug and play... guess not. I'm thinking components in the front and coaxial in the back. I really can't stand how bad the stockers are. When I plug my ipod into the aux, it sounds absolutely terrible.

Hate to say this again but all the questions you are asking have been answered. Just do some searching and you should find them all. If after that you can not than post. Just a friendly recommendation :tiphat:
