Default is it possible to fit an aftermarket system in the nav compartment?

is it possible to where the "nav unit" Would be, put in an aftermarket system that would be flush and work REALLY well as a replacement?

Its very hard to find a 370z with a nav unit in my area, and with help of 98intrigue(who put me in with a great guy at a local dealer) found me a great 370z touring with a Sprt Package.

The ONE thing I really want is that nav unit that comes with the touring models because it fits so nicely in that compartment. Is their a aftermarket one that I could put in it that would fit nicely?!
