Getting a new head unit and BU cam

So i am visiting my local car toys and getting the pioneer 4300 head unit and a backup cam installed along with all of the harness and whatnot to preserve my stearing wheel controls. $1500 installed. i wish i had the skills to do it myself and save money but i have no skills in that department. i curently have a 09 touring, so this is going in with the boise system. it was going to be another 2000 for them to put in a custom fiberglass sub enclosure in the back left side portion of the trunk. that is a bit too much coin for the moment.

Too steep...

HU on Amazon is $400, wiring and PAC/AXXESS is another $100ish, dash kit is $25-35, camera varies from $20-30 and up.

Even if he added satellite and the nav unit, you are still paying approx $500 for install it seems.

Car toys, they're salesmen work on commission... so I'd definitely shop around if you can.
