Amp for jl 10w6v2 d4
Ok I'm getting the hang of the audio and I want to know what would be good in running the jl 10w6v2 d4?
I believe the rms of the sub is 600w and a dual voice coil 4 ohm. So a good amp to run I read is a mono amp because the multichannel amps can't be bridged to support the sub. Am I on the right track? I read people run the jl 500/1 amp with this sub. If ran in parallel that would yield 2 ohms right? If the Hifonics BXi1210D, which is a 1200w rms mono amp, is run in series that would be alright? Would the J2 500.1 also be a good choice? Or suggestions would be helpful also. Help guide me in the right direction. :icon14: |
