Static sound on my pioneer avic-d2 !!help!
I installed my pioneer avic-d2 navagttion stereo..but i hear alot of static in the backround and my radio stations keep breaking off...i bought the new harness and new antenna! and i put the ground wire right on the bracket that holds the stereo..so that is all metal...what could be the problem? thanks!

Try moving the ground to one of the four holes that surround the shift knob.
Also is this a bose system? Any amps installed? |
I dont have bose...but they said the car has a stock amp?

You mean the holes that are Bolts ? that hold the whole shifter?

thats why i got the harness thats for pre amped cars..

oh by the way for the antenna adapter...there is a blue wire...should i connect that to the other blue wire its suppose to be connected too?

yeah i think thats the one i have ...probably not same brand..but looks like it..bought it off a radio shop installer...so he looked online and the pplastic did say Nissan 07 +, but i never did connect those blue wires and now i have to fix the ground..

the blue wire needs 12v to power the antenna booster on the Z. i just tapped it to the remote blue/white power wire on my setup.

so connect it to the blue/white wire?
