NO Only if your source on the head unit was selected at the same time so you could see a movie in two different locations on your dash.

You could use a HKS unit to view things on the separate screen separately from the head unit all together.

got it, thanks man. the whole reasoning for this is because i wanted to make that flip-up space usable. that space at its current state is completely useless IMO.

FYI there is a user that installed some sort of navi system (garmin I think) that actually had a remote brain and a seperate screen which was controllable by either the touch screen or a remote or something. I think that is the closest you're going to get to the OEM nav setup.
