It does get better with time. I've had many cats in my time but a few have stood out as really great companions and they were usually the ones that were taken away too soon.

I had a fantastic cat that I got just before one of the hardest times of my life and he was always there to greet me when i got home or sit on my lap and whatnot, unfortunately he died of feline leukemia within about a year.

Like others have said, find solace in the fact that you gave her 17 great years, and she gave you the same.

Sorry also. I love animals too. Your cat with you and your car .Yea, i know how it is. I have a Shiz zu and he goes with me in both my daily driver and the Z. they dont shed.:iagree:

hey Matt, I'm so sorry man. I was lucky enough to meet Tiger with my girlfriend.... by far the cutest cat I have ever met, I feel so horrible man. She was awesome! RIP!
