Hardware Upgrade to Factory Navigation
So I've got the 2009 370z and noticed that there are several upgrades in the newer systems. I was wondering if anyone knows what would be involved in upgrading the entire nav system to the newer version. I assume that the screen, HDD, and possible some type of video processor would be involved.
Any information would be greatly appreciated! Edit: I forgot to mention that I want this to include bluetooth audio that the newer versions have (for music over bluetooth in addition to the existing bluetooth for cell service) |
Try this thread?
Music over bluetooth may not be possible without an aftermarket hu that supports it. If I'm wrong someone can correct me http://www.the370z.com/audio-video/3...re-update.html |
Probably cheaper to trade for a newer Z than try to replace that much.

See what you can find at a junk yard..

Hey Bondfire,
In order to use the Navi and all the assorted attachments, BT module, iPod Module, Power Amp, Navi screen different radio box, you would also need a new wire harness connecting to all the affected areas, and the way wire harnesses are bundled no way without changing out the entire wire harness - plus don't forget the mic in the center overhead console, the PTT button and Voice command buttons on the SW too. |
