i just put in some seat covers on with the seats out and had the plugs undone while it was turned on....guess what....went for a drive and yep dreaded blinking light..
this reset worked exactly as you said.

I tried this a few times and end up with it flashing 2 times quick and once long. Does anyone know what the blinking codes are? I replaced my steering wheel with a CFE steering wheel and unplugged the battery both +&- sides before working on the steering wheel airbag. Any advice please.

Took two tries but I got it on the second one. Very happy!

Ya hitting the shutoff as soon as the light goes out is key.

wow. this is awesome.
i just stopped by the dealership today and they asked for $105 for the job.
I said no and came back read this thread and tried it.
worked for my first try.

I have been modding 350's and now 370's for quiet some time now, I have always turn to the turned to the forums for tips and troubleshooting questions. All I can say is thank goodness for the forums and a helpful tip yet again. Btw when installing door speakers, head unit or floor boards I suggest using copious amounts or dynomat... Just saying

well my HU went in over 6 months ago and I just today got the flashing airbag so I doubt it's due to that. my car did go to the dealer for it's 18750 oil change and thats all the changed so I doubt it's that either. it's fricking annoying as yell I will be trying this in a little while myself.

Does anyone know if these steps work on the 13' models? I don't know why it would be any different, just having no luck resetting it. I just installed a HU and new speakers throughout the car. Everything is plugged in. I get the slow flashes, but then I can't get it to go out. It is flashing two long flashes and then nine quick flashes. Can someone please enlighten me as to what I'm doing wrong.

Oops, I forgot to plug in the satellite sensor on the passenger door.......problem fixed. Lesson learned! This reset worked on the first try, after everything was plugged in. No more flashing SRS for me!
