Passenger door speaker cutting out

Can anyone give me some advice for how to deal with a speaker cut-out on my passenger side door? It rarely happens and it only occurs when I am making a hard right sweeping turn, so I'm assuming that something is still touching but not firmly connected. After I straighten back out, it either comes back on immediately or within 3 or 4 seconds. Since it happens so infrequently (but pretty consistently under the same conditions) should it be something to worry about in terms of possible damage to any component or part of the electrical system?

If it is something to worry about, how difficult is it to remove the door paneling? I've never tried to disassemble any part of the car so I don't know what's involved with the process. Are there special tools required? Any assistance would be much appreciated! :tiphat:

removing the door panel is easy to do. check the DIY section for that.

i would wiggle the wire going to the speaker to see if that's where the intermittent is happening. chances are it could be somewhere else...check the speaker itself (might be a bad solder or even wet) like the door jam grommet area, or even your HU.

the worst that can happen is your HU's circuit breaker will die and you fry the amp going to that speaker...

If there aftermarket speakers, i would say crimp connectors were used. I would take the door apart cut them off and solder the wire directly to the speaker terminals.
