Call Waiting upgrade notice
 

I got a notice in the mail today telling me there is a software update to my HU software that will allow call waiting while using bluetooth. I was wondering if we know anything about the software update. Does it update anything else, fix any bugs, change any other functionality? I wouldn't mind call waiting and I am always happy to get updates but don't really want the hassle of going to the dealership. BTW I have a 2010, I don't know if this applies to 2009 cars or not as they have a different HU.

I received notification for the same thing via email. They just called it a nav update ntb10-073 but I didn't get any details. I plan on taking it in next week.

that might be an earlier software update recall on Iphone compatability issues. this campaign specifies call waiting. let us know after your dealer visit.

Does your letter have a campaign number on it? Here is the notice that deals with updating call waiting among other things.

No campaign number that I can find on the postcard. I did take mine in late last year (I think or maybe early this year) and have an update to the HU. I was having ipod problems. The update did not fix my ipod problems though I was able to solve it later. I wonder if I've already had this update? I haven't tried to see if I have call waiting or not.

After reading the above TSB I went and looked at the version number for my current software. It is not the same as the version number of this update. So this is a different update than the one I had last year. I guess I'll be off to the dealer sometime in the next few weeks. Otherwise it will bug me to no end knowing there is an update out there that I don't have.

No NAV/Bluetooth upgrade for me.

just return from dealer on this nitice, on the work order it stated a recal P1234 reprogram navi NTB11-073. after install noticed that version was different from the NTB10-125 that was posted earlier on this forum. just an FYI
