I just installed mine today and yes I bought a cheap ipod dock cable and it will do the ipod control. I'm having an issue playing any video through it at all, DVD/apps. I keep getting the warning prompt and I can hear the sound play but no video. I wired up a relay bypass but I'm not sure if it could be wired wrong and thats why I can't see any video.

Yeah, that warning screen and the audio playing means that the relay isn't working, so I would check the wiring. Make sure you have the parallel pins 86 and 85 one of them attached to ground and one of them to the parking brake wire, ground the top one 87, and then attach the bottom pin 30 to your headunit's remote wire. I just did that in a friend's car to bypass the 3300bt and it worked.

Ok that makes sense, I thought I saw a post somewhere about being able to stream netflix through my iphone onto the P4300. I think I saw it on a crutchfield or amazon review.

Thank you I will definitely be taking it back to the installer and getting him to recheck all this. I'm not so sure about him anymore lol, he was also baffled by the swi-ps and wanted me to research it and figure out how to wire it, which I still need to do.

...an installer should never be asking you how to do it. I f he doesnt know where to search it (which he should) id be a little less inclined to use him in the future

I just did some research and the CD-IU200V cable from pioneer says it will play video, just bought one on ebay for half retail price. I agree with you, thats his job to know or figure out how to do that ****, not mine. Hopefully he can straighten this relay issue out tomorrow or sat.

Thanks for the help guys. Got it straightened out yesterday. Not only was the relay wired wrong he forgot to connect the remote wire on the new harness. Just need to get the swi-ps controller figured out now
