Cubby install

Sorry if this has already been asked but I couldn't find it posted LOL I'm thinking of putting a nav screen with rear view cam pic in my cubby. 2010 Vert sport/touring no nav. Anybody do this before? Is it possible? Does anybody make a nav screen with rear view capability? I don't want to replace factory cd/sat./radio HU. I'm a nub to sterio/vid stuff. Appreciate any help:tiphat:

There are a few ways you cna go about this.

The first is to simply install a monitor into the cubby area and have a power switch wired to turn it on when you put the car into revers. This way the screen and camera come on and you can use it. Once you go out of revers your on your way.

Second way is to have someone install a monitor that it looks factory in the cubby hole and do the same thing above.

Third is to have someone install a new head unit which you will be happy with the overall sound increase and the reverse camera.

Let me know if I can help any!! I know a few people have done similar things but for watching their engine status.

How much is a replacemnt HU with this capability? I've seen a unit from Navsgo that is a nav and rearview for $260. Any experience with them?

Sorry if I really sound like a nub cause when it comes to audio ect. I am. As you can see from from my sig I'm not a mech. nub just technology challenged when it comes to audio. My brother in law has a H3 and Jag that have been heavily aud/vid modified. He has a 43" flat screen in the trunk of the Jag. I'm not looking for that kind of mods LOL Thanks again for the help. Your work looks great. My brother in law has his work done in Buffalo about 1 1/2 hour drive.
