My concealed subwoofer install
3 Attachment(s)
Personally I wasn't pleased with any sub enclosures that are offered. Also the bose sub in the spare wheel just wasn't cutting it. Here's an idea for those who want a little more bass to their overall average bose system, while maintaining a stock looking Z.

Looks good .
How much cf of air space is in the box,and what's is made of. |
Thanks, I made the box out of fiberglass. It's roughly 900in cubed, more then enough air for that sub.
|
Nice.
I've thought of trying something similar. |
I also didn't like any boxes either so I made my own,I had a 10in then I changed it to JL13.5 but kept everything stock dimensions.

Did you end up leaving the stock Bose Bass in as well or did you just replace them with this new setup?
I'm thinking of leaving the stock ones in and adding additional speakers. |
wow, thats a nice setup.

I'm digging it big time. can another one be placed behind the driver's seat?

Nice job. |
I know I'm several years late on this but has anyone else done anything similar to this? I was thinking of two 6.5" subs and two 6.5" component speakers in that space and mount the amps under or behind the seats.
|
I guess not

If you are that interested in finding out, I'd start a new thread.
