Stupid question but where's the iPod interface plug?
 

I can't find, for the life of me, where to plug the iPod interface cable.. I have the Navigation system and it came with the iPod interface cable (still plastic wrapped) so I'm sure I should have a port to plug it into but I can't find it.. I even watched the DVD that came with the car and it shows that it's in underneath the pop-up cover in the center console but no dice, there's nothing inside there.

LOL! I would have never thought about doing that.. I thought that WAS the full space/area of the center console!

Anyway to keep the ipod plugged in and have the tray sitting in the center console?

I hate how they design that. Once you put in the interface. The tray won't fit. Should at less make the wire a little shorter....

I installed a Kenwood DNX8120. I ran the Ipod cable into the center console tray. In order to make the top tray fit with the Ipod connected I turn my ipod on it's side and it fits between the two compartments of the tray.
