i used just a relay and some wires was easy but i put in an aftermarket dvd player .

If you are installing an aftermarket DVD player you don't need to actually connect it to the e-brake. On Kenwood units just ground the signal wire. If you had connected it to the e-brake it gets grounded when the brake is on. I simply grounded mine to the radio chassis with one of the existing screws and a crimp on ring terminal, works perfectly.

So I added a rocker switch (one of the 3 blanks) on my Z and flick that on/off, on my other cars I bought the timed relays aka grounding kit. |
