Whow ! I am surprised that nobody has comments on this Focal SUB. With such a small cockpit and limited space, I figured somebody must have looked at this.

Everybody touts FOCAL as top line product, there must have been some questions as to the rating of their subs.

Trying again.

I haven't heard any user feedback on these, but the parameters I read on them showed they only go down to 50hz. I think better low end can be had with a Pioneer slimline. The 8" will also work free air and can be mounted on a baffle over the hole in the spare, a better alternative would be to do a custom enclosure and mount the 10" in it. I have also read in another thread here that a JL 6w3 might fit in the cavity in front of the spare behind the strut area, in a custom enclosure. That would hit pretty hard in our small cars. Lastly, Zenclosures is looking for a car in the Tampa area, where they are located, to be the test car for a new 370 box..... now that is good news based on their history of stealth enclosures. Our cars are so new, it won't be long before there are some good options available, besides removing the spare.

Check this thread out too Brian:

8" Subwoofer box WITH spare tire

This looks like the way to go. I think an aftermarker company will design one of these for us soon. The JL thinlines are also a good alternative to the Pioneer slimlines.
