Anyone with Bose swap in an aftermarket HU?

That's great to hear thank you very much. I'm looking forward to getting a new HU installed ASAP. Since the subwoofer gets it's signal from the two rear speakers, is

Since the subwoofer gets it's signal from the two rear speakers, is there a built in crossover somewhere so that the subwoofer gets only the lower Freq and the rear speakers only get the mid range? Or are the rear speakers getting everything?

The Kenwood has crossover adjustments but they don't seem to impact my setup. Also, the rear speakers are $hit anyway.
