I wanted to get a z enclosure and put one or two subs under that and put an amp on top the the z enclosure box. Now is it a bad idea to put ur amp on top of your subs? just cause so much base gets out and will this effect the amp in any particular way?
I feel like all the vibration cant be good for the amp. |

They in some ways help remove vibration however with an entire box shaking I can not see small pieces of ruber helping. I would place the amp else where.

I'm just not a fan of having the amp out i the open like that, and if you can reduce the vibration on it all the better. |

i had a custom box made to fit right being the bar and for my amp i had it mounted right below it. like if you pick the carpet up youll see a big foam insert there. i had the installers remove it and stick my amp there

I have the 2x10" Upfire Zenclosures box and I have my amp mounted on the rear facing side of the box. Absolutely no problems what-so-ever. Love the look of all of it, and I'm often complimented on the setup. I don't have any pics right now as the grilles are being painted to match the theme of the car, but when I do they'll be uploaded.
I don't see any problem mounting the amp on the box so long as its firmly mounted..?? ![]()
