This setup: Amazon.com: Polk Audio DB6501 6.5-Inch 2-Way Component System (Pair, Silver): Electronics
The tweeters are way smaller than factory sized tweeters. Why did anyone recommend this? What size are our ACTUAL tweeters so I can get the right sized ones. These come with 1" tweeters, I need 2" don't I? Can I get a relatively cheap mount to put on the 1 inchers? Last edited by Synack; 05-11-2011 at 08:26 PM. |

to make mine, i found a hard back old college book and traced the stock tweeter bracket. Then used the mounting cup for the new tweeter as a template for the tweeter. You will need use the supplied tweeter mounting cup, tweeter, mounting bracket(abs, wood, cardboard, ect). As far as the cardboard goes, as long as it is able to hold the tweeter in place, i think your fine. |
