A-Z search for stock nav unit?
I have an 09 370z touring, I use my ipod through the nav unit but i have 1000 plus songs and it takes forever to reach a song midway through the alphabet, is there a quicker way, like and A-Z search?

hold left button down on steering wheel and it will let your scroll by alphabet (a-z)
|
Thanks bro, appreciate it.

Alright nvm, just went out to my car to try it and all it does is go through the pages quicker, still isn't letting me search a-z
|
Hmmm the only thing I can think of is going to the Musicbox Menu and clicking "Search Keywords"
|
The 2009 and 2010+ head units are different. That may be why it works for T.Rager22 and not for Tward. In my 2010 there are 2 up arrows and 2 down arrows on the touch screen. If you hold the upper most or lower most arrow for a couple of seconds it starts the A-Z scrolling. I'm not sure about the 2009s.

If someone with a 2009 nav unit could let me know if i am able to search a-z i would appreciate it.

I don't think you can.
So far the best I have come up with is holding the down arrow on the Nav wheel and it will start scrolling through the numbers. I keep planning to print an index for Artists (I don't search by song) but so far I just guess how far in to go (e.g. 200/397 = about M). |
Yea, thats all i have came up with. It makes me pretty mad, it always takes me forever to find songs
