Default ?Pioneer AVH-P3300BT DVD receiver

Hi gang;

Wanted to know if anyone has this deck and how are they liking it. I am thinking of replacing the stock deck for this one for ipod/bluetooth and Pandora music. Has anyone bought it from ebay also?

Thanks,

Ian B

Beware because I dnt think the 3300BT will actually stream BT audio except and only with Pandora which was a really dumb idea crafted by Pioneer. I mean, why only Pandora is beyond my brain ability.

Really I dont know wtf Pioneer is thinking, but to get proper BT streaming you gotta buy their ~930X unit which is like $700 or more. I'd stay away from this HU if you are looking for BT streaming. You better check it out first at a local car audio place to be sure it is what you want for this feature.

JVC on the other hand has got their sh*t together for BT streaming support for decent prices. Their BT streaming works as expected while the pioneer is like WTF!. I have the 3200BT which works great for phone calls over BT but has absolutely NO support for BT streaming audio. Buyer beware.

I called Pioneer and apparently I've gotta spend $130 on their BTB200 module to get BT audio streaming, but then supposedly I'd lose my BT phone calling keypad. What a disapointment.

I am currently using that unit in my Nismo. I don't have an Iphone, so I don't miss the bluetooth streaming. Other issue I have with it is the Ipod dock is on the front of the unit, no hookup in the rear, so it's impossible to hide the cable. The bluetooth mic/phone setup is so-so, the stock one in my Titan is better. Otherwise a nice unit you can pick up on ebay for around 300-350.
